Meet Dr. Charisse Caswell
Dr. Charisse Caswell, D.M.D., Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Charisse Caswell has a fun, gentle, and non-aggressive approach to pediatric dentistry. Becoming a highly qualified specialist in pediatrics has always been a lifetime goal. Thus, she pursued a career in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Caswell graduated from the University of Louisville in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in biology. In 2005, she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Caswell was president of the Student National Dental Association for three years.
She also participated in many community service events, including a dental mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Caswell worked in a pediatric dental clinic in the Atlanta area.
In 2006, she returned to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry to complete a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry. During her residency she received certification in hospital dentistry, conscious sedation, behavior management, care for special needs patients, and management of traumatic injuries.
Dr. Caswell enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. In her spare time, she likes to travel, bowl, and watch movies.
